South Korean models pose with a new hybrid compact car by Kia motors in Seoul on July 15, 2009. The 'Forte Hybrid LPI' powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and an electric motor with lithium ion polymer batteries is the company's first hybrid car following a belated foray into the growing market by its parent Hyundai Motors in a bid to catch up with its Japanese rivals.
